Degenerative Knee Disease: Surgery or Therapy?
How will arthroscopic surgery effect you when you are suffering from a degenerative knee disease? In 2017, The BMJ, an international peer reviewed medical journal, published recommendations from an expert panel finding that knee arthroscopy was not any more advantageous than therapy. They strongly recommended against arthroscopy for degenerative knee disease; physical therapy was shown to be more effective in treating degenerative knee disease.
