Effective Pain Management
Is pain preventing you from performing daily tasks and enjoying your favorite recreational activities? It doesn't have to! Our bodies are faced with a great deal of stress throughout our lives, and this stress can translate into physical pain in the back, neck, jaw, arms, and legs.
Incontinence & Pelvic Floor Therapy
The pelvic floor is a group of muscles around the pelvis, abdomen, and low back which all work together to hold up our reproductive, bladder, and bowel organs. Our pelvic floor can be the cause of pelvic pain and/or sexual dysfunction.
Oral Facial Pain and Headaches
Oral facial pain and headaches are two problems that require a thorough examination of your cervical spine, temporal mandibular joint (TMJ), and muscles related to each of these to determine why you are having pain. Problems such as TMJ and myofascial pain syndrome can cause headaches and oral facial pain.
Triggerpoint Dry Needling
Each of our physical therapists have advanced credentialing in a technique known as Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN or Dry Needling). While this technique is relatively new to the U.S., doctors and physical therapists have been using it in Canada and Europe with great results. Leon Bradway has been using this technique with great results for almost 20 years and introduced it to the Brazos Valley several years ago. Patient are often amazed at how quickly the technique works.
Electromyography (EMG) & Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) Tests
Dr. Bradway is one of the only physical therapists in the BCS area that is certified to perform EMG and NCV tests. These tests measure the electrical activity of muscles and nerves. These results can be beneficial in determining your best plan of care.
